Earlier today, the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed said the President can not return to the country for now after the initial reports that he would return to the country tomorrow on completion of his vacation in the UK.

Only a while ago another statement emerged from Buhari's spokesperson, Femi Adeshina that Buhari would not return to the country for now and wrote a letter to the National Assembly.
Reason cited is he had to unavoidably stay back to enable him collect the results of the tests conducted on him by his doctors.

Below is the copy of the statement from the Presidency issued by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media emailed to our newsroom here in the French capital of Paris.
